DECORATED CONCRETE

You know what kind of patio is cheaper and more durable than stone, flagstone, or brick paver? (Hint: two words that rhyme with fleckorated schmoncrete.)

Decorated concrete patios are great for high traffic, high use areas – driveways, entryways, courtyards, lounge areas, swimming pools. Have you ever considered a stamped concrete patio? A stamped concrete patio is a concrete patio that has been imprinted with some sort of design…perhaps hearts and unicorns, or your family crest. Some stamped designs resemble tile, brick, wood, flagstone, or slate. After the concrete slab has been printed with your design, it can be painted or acid stained to look like natural stone. Wouldn’t a Burning Bin-Graystone-Faux Fire Rock look wonderful on your concrete patio? Maybe even with the hearts and unicorns? We are not ones to judge.

You can also custom color it. Colored concrete is not painted, dyed, or stained – the cement base is mixed with iron oxide pigment, so the color remains even. While the surface will appears to fade with time, wear, and tear, a good sealer will help keep your decorative concrete patio looking newer longer. Especially the unicorns.
